Twitter Vs. DeviantArt

I have never heard of DeviantART before, but i think it is a really cool site!  You can share your art.  I can't draw but i enjoy looking at everyones drawings.  You can type in the search bar what kind of art you want to see.  For example i searched Harry Potter, and tons of cool drawing and art works poped up.

My fave social networking site in Twitter.  I'm really big into the whole celeb news.  I love knowing what going on with my fave stars.  It allows you to interact with your faverite celebs, and when you get a tweet from them its the coolest feeling in the world!  Scotty Mccreery has tweeted me before, and Haley Reinhart from last season of American Idol follows me!  Pretty cool huh??  I also talk to my friends on there as well, but i mostly do that on facebook. 

I would have to say that these two site are complety diffrent, but i find both of them intresting.  I will deffieantly check out more artwork on deviantART.  Twitter is mainly for keeping up with the buzz going on with the world weather its celebs or just your friends and deviantART is to share your artwork with others!

American Idol top 24 is here!! FINALLY!

Yes the live shows start next week!!  WHO'S PUMPED?!?!?!  I am!  I can't wait to get to voting for my faves!  So far i would have to say Heejun Han is my fave guy, and its a tie between Elise Testone, Jessica Sanchez, and Jen Hirsh as being my fave girl.

There you have it.  The Top 24 of American Idol Season 10!  BUT WAIT!  There is a twist this year!  The judges are bringing back 1 more boy to be back into the competition, and we will find out who that is on Tuesday when the boys perform for Americans vote.  This will make the top 24 the top 25!! HOLY MOLEY!!!

Broadway Faves: In The Heights

In the Heights is one of my all time fave musicals.  I have seen this show live twice.  Once in NYC while it was still running on Broadway, and once when it came to Rochester.  What i like most about the show is it stays true to the traditional broadway type show but puts an spin on things with more music styles such as rap, hip hop, and latin.  The show appeals to all ages.  When i saw the show in NYC the audience was so diverse.  I remember there was a couple sitting next to me speaking spanhish, an Asian mother and her son in front of me, a older couple who mostly likely go to shows all the time as a hobby, and a African American women behind me.  All ages and races can relate to this show in one was or another.

The story of the musical is the community of Washington Hights, which is mainly an Hispanic area of NYC, are just stuggling in there everyday lifes.  Usnavi the main chacter earns his living as running his corner store with his cousin Sonny.  There is the girls at the salon making a living as hair dressers.  Then there is the Rosarios, a family who owns a taxi cab company.  They all go though life stuggles together.  Here are some of my fave sceans from the show.

This is the first scene in the show.  Usnavi is talking about his daily life of all the people that come in and out of his corner show.  

In this scene someone in the heights has won the daily lotto for 96,000.  Everyone on the corner is sharing what they would do if they won that 96,000.

In this scene Albula, Unsavi's grandma is singing about her life when she immagrated from Cuba as a child.  Later on in the show we find out the she was the one to win the lotto in the heights.

I highley recommend this show.  It one of my faves.  Hope you all enjoyed.
